Multi Engine Piston (MEP)

Class Rating

The purpose of this course is to provide the student the necessary flying skills regarding the safe operation of a Multi Engine Piston (MEP) aircraft, under the Visual Flight Rules (VFR).

The MEP (Multi-Engine Piston) class rating holders are qualified to fly as PIC (Pilot-In-Command) in any piston, single-pilot certified, multi-engine airplane.

3-7 days

Course

  • 8 hrs Theory

​

  • 6 hrs Flight training

​

  • 1 hr Skill test

Entry Requirements

  • EASA Private Pilot Licence - PPL(A)

​

  • At least 70 hours as Pilot-In Command​ (PIC) in aeroplanes

​

  • EASA Class 1 or 2 Medical Certificate

​

  • ​Sufficient knowledge of the English language
