Private Pilot Licence - PPL(A)

Private Pilot Licence (Aeroplane) - PPL(A) is the initial step into the world of aviation. It allows the holder to safely operate Single Engine Piston (SEP) aircraft during the day, under Visual Flight Rules (VFR).

 

With an PPL(A) licence acquired, the holder is qualified to act as a pilot for private purposes (recreation or fun), enjoying the freedom of flying.

It is also the fundamental beginning for every student willing to extend his/her flying knowledge and experience, to a professional level linked to upcoming training modules.

Entry Requirements

  • Prior to the 1st solo flight, the student must be at least 16 years of age

  • EASA Medical Certificate Class 1 or 2

​

  • Fundamental knowledge of mathematics and physics

​

  • Sufficient knowledge of the English language
